Youâve Got Questions, Weâve Got Answers!
Setting sail on a world cruise is a massive milestone, and we know the âfine printâ can feel a little overwhelming. Whether youâre dreaming of a 180-day odyssey or a shorter segment, here are the answers to the questions our advisors hear most:
đ Can I bring guests onboard during port stops?
This is one of our most popular requests! While weâd love for you to show off your floating home, most cruise lines do not allow visitors due to strict post-9/11 security protocols.
The Exception: Some ultra-luxury lines allow âVisitor Passesâ if requested weeks in advance, but itâs rare.
Our Tip: Meet your friends or family at a local bistro or beach club instead! Itâs the perfect excuse to explore the port together.
đŚ Can I ship luggage ahead of time?
Absolutely. In fact, we recommend it! For a world cruise, you donât want to be wrestling with four suitcases at the airport. We partner with specialized white-glove services that pick up your bags at your front door and deliver them straight to your suite.
đ What happens if I get sick mid-ocean?
World cruise ships are equipped with advanced medical centers, staffed by doctors and nurses 24/7. They can handle everything from a common cold to more complex stabilizations.
WCA Tip: Always travel with comprehensive cruise-specific insurance. Itâs the one thing we hope you never have to use, but will be so glad you have.
Ready to stop wondering and start wandering?
Our job is to handle the logistics so you can focus on the sunsets.
