So when you think about lines at Disney World, you’re probably picturing the lines that build at rides and using Lightning Lane to skip them.

But (sadly) there a lot of other lines at Disney and (yea!!) other ways to skip said lines…without spending money.

Say less, amiright?

A few of my favorites:

➡️Early Entry + Rope Drop can knock out some of the busiest rides before or right as the park officially opens!

➡️Rider Switch will let you take turns riding without waiting in the full line twice if one of your kids can’t ride.

➡️Mobile Order is one of the easiest ways to avoid long food lines, especially during busy meal times.

➡️Merchandise Mobile Checkout lets you blow by the register line at the busiest stores.

➡️ Dining Walk-Up Lists shows you what table service restaurants are available and you don’t have to stand there while you wait…you get an alert when your table is ready!

None of little hacks are crazy complex, but when you stack them together throughout the day, they can add up to save you a ton of time.

I get so sick of seeing all the Disney “advice” that is really just opinions…which doesn’t help when you are new to Disney and trying to plan a trip.

“You HAVE to see the fireworks, it’s not magical if you don’t.” What if your child is scared of loud noises? Or you’d rather do rides?

“You don’t need Lightning Lane, we go all the time and never use it.” …um, exactly. If you go all the time I’m guessing you’ve nailed a pretty solid strategy and are also okay with skipping some of the popular rides.

“It’s not worth going if you can’t stay Deluxe.” What?!? Crazy talk. All budgets are different and I promise you a vacation at Pop Century can be just as magical as a stay at The Boardwalk. You know what isn’t magical? Taking years to pay off your vacation.

Hard lesson I learned long ago⬇️

Just because it’s Disney doesn’t mean it’s the best for toddlers.

Of course, you know your kids best! Some toddlers love fireworks, characters, late nights, and all the big Disney moments.

But if there’s something your family really wants to do, the goal isn’t always to skip it.

Sometimes it’s just figuring out the easiest, least stressful way to make it happen (ie fireworks from your resort’s beach rather than in the crowds near the castle).

And when it comes to characters, dining is one of my favorite ways to do that.

You get the magic of meeting characters, without standing in another line with a toddler who is running in the danger zone on patience.

Especially when you’re already paying for a travel planner whether you use one or not.
