This year's cohort includes Spanish4Educators alumnus Allie Goldenkrantz and her awesome family. Allie was a part of our 2023 cohort #8 to Guatemala, and we are super grateful she has brought along some colleagues in Eagle, CO to come along this year!

Our cohort also has four families traveling with children. We would love a couple of additional families who are interested in learning about the beautiful country and culture of Guatemala, and to participate in an immersive Spanish experience!

Registration deadline is April 25. We would love to have you in cohort #11!

MAYAN MONDAY: Spotlight on Lake Atitlan, a UNESO World Heritage site and one of the most stunning crater lakes in the world.

Lake Atitlan has been a sacred place for the Maya for centuries - surrounded by volcanoes and traditional villages, the lake was seen as a bridge between the human and spiritual worlds.

Many of the surrounding towns, like Santiago Atitlán and San Juan La Laguna, still celebrate Maya traditions, from weaving colorful textiles to following ceremonies linked to the lunar calendar.
