What a great day to be out there ringing my cow bell for the runners, joggers and hikers. Was able to cheer on current coworkers Don Kiely and Matt Atkinson. I saw former coworkers Tom Hewitt, Sara Talbert, Ben Roth, and Tom Moran. Did I miss anyone? Let us know if I did.

Looking for something to do next weekend? We are happy to help make the Equinox Marathon happen. It is either a full marathon or you can participate as a relay team....and that is where we come in. We provide the transportation up...and down Murphy dome for the relay team runners. If you are not signed up to run come on out and join us while we cheer them on. Our very own Matt is running -- are you running it? Let us know if you are and what your number is. We will keep an eye out for you. Have my cow bell ready to cheer you on!!!!

It is time for the colors of fall! No, not the yellow, red and orange colors of the tundra (which are beautiful) -- BUT, the green, red, and purple colors of the Northern Lights / Aurora!!!! Congratulations Hazel Probst! (daughter of pilot Greg Probst). She recently summitted Denali, the tallest mountain in North America. It was exciting, nail biting, and thrilling -- and that was just us cheering her on from down below. The stats vary, but often fewer than 50% of those who attempt the summit make it to the top. The weather wasn't always this nice for Hazel's trip and she did have a few set backs but continued upwards.

We will be providing ground tours around the Fairbanks International Airport and our air partners Warbelows Air and Wright Air will be giving Young Explorers Flights. Can you cross the Arctic Circle in April and early May? Isn't everything closed? YES and NO. Absolutely you can cross the Arctic Circle -- it is actually a value season for the rates. AND, while there are some activities which are weather based -- you can still get out and explore Fairbanks during the spring season -- watch the migrating birds as they take a rest in Fairbanks on their journey north, stop in at the Morris Thompson Cultural and Visitor Center, take a walk with a reindeer, visit our amazing museums..the list goes on!
