🎓 Recent Fairmont State graduates with disabilities: Explore federal career opportunities!

The Workforce Recruitment Program (WRP) connects college students, graduate students and recent graduates with disabilities to federal internships and permanent employment opportunities. Recent graduates must have graduated with a degree on or after April 1, 2024.

Applications are open now through October 4, 2026.

What a busy and memorable weekend for the Fairmont State Falcon Community!

Falcons came together in Dayton, Ohio, to celebrate the football season opener, with a great evening at Silos on Friday night and a tailgate Saturday morning before the game. There’s nothing quite like catching up with old friends and making new memories while cheering on the Falcons!

And while some Falcons were in Ohio, others gathered in Charlotte, NC, for a Charlotte Knights event!

No matter where we gather, it’s always special to see the Fairmont State family come together. Thank you to everyone who helped make this weekend possible and one to remember!

Once a Falcon, always a Falcon!

Several times each year, Fairmont State’s Presidential Speaker Series brings public figures, scholars, leaders, artists, and experts from a variety of disciplines to campus to explore the important issues that shape our lives and communities.

We hope you will make plans to join us on campus for the first Presidential Speaker Series event of the fall 2026 semester, featuring Rajiv Vinnakota, President of the Institute for Citizens & Scholars.

Vinnakota will discuss “Higher Education’s Civic Responsibility,” exploring the important role colleges and universities play in preparing students to be engaged, informed, and active citizens.
