Yesterday we did a short hike at some up to Hole in the Rock. With incredible views of the city we watched a gorgeous desert sunset. After that we went to the Desert Botanical Garden and it was magical. All lit up with so many cool cacti. It was like a magical fairy garden of cactus.

What a fantastic first day in Scottsdale! We had some pool time, then walked around Old Town, ending with dinner at The Mission, which was fantastic. And Mr. Liz bought me that beautiful necklace that matches my dress. It’s a one of a kind made by someone in the store who has since passed away. Love it here! But man, it’s hot.
