Many people ask me what I can book… here’s the truth- I can book ANYTHING, well maybe not the moon, yet anyway😉
… give me a few years☺️!

So I thought I would start making some posts about trips I have planned to give everyone an idea about what’s possible! To respect the privacy of my clients I won’t post names or dates but if you see your trip posted and you’d like to jump in feel free to comment or add photos or videos!!

I booked a couple on their very first cruise on Royal Caribbean’s Utopia of the Seas sailing from Port Canaveral in Florida. The only nice thing about this cruise for a first cruise was that it is typically a 3 or 4 night itinerary so it is a great chance to try it out to see if a cruise is the type of trip for you! Also since it is in Orlando it can be a nice add on to a theme parks vacation.

Happy Mother’s Day to all the Moms out there whether you gave birth to your babies, adopted them, they are your kids by marriage or maybe just your kids friends that your mothered… thank you for all you did to nourish and help them grow! Here’s a pic of me and my kids from 2006 and from their weddings, two of my greatest accomplishments!

A little past vacation story to share…

I was looking through some scrapbooks today to find a picture to post of me with my kiddos (when we were all much younger) for Mother’s Day tomorrow and I came across some pictures I wanted to share from our most expensive vacay soon EVER!

It was 2006 and we were on a small adventure to Pigeon Forge, Tennessee for a weeks stay in a cabin in the mountains. So the kids would have been 6 and 8. We had our bichon Molly with us for our trip. Russ was certain she was going to wrestle with a grizzly!

On our way down in the hills of Kentucky Jason an I noted black smoke from the back of the white van. Not to panic the kids we played it off and traveled on. We barely made it up the mountain to our cabin with a little stop and go action but we rolled into the drive! After unloading, Jason had to coast down the hillside to find us a rental for the week and we got to spend a day car Shopping due to a completely blown transmission…hence the most expensive vacation ever! We came home in a red dodge caravan!

However we salvaged the week with Molly wrestling her grizzly (stuffed of course), driving race cars, putt putt, buying silly socks, horse back riding, meeting Real cowboys, making new friends, the Black Bear Jamboree, the aquarium, parrot mountain and enjoying our cabin in the mountains !

Sometimes trips don’t always go exactly as planned but it’s all about what you make out of it! The kids will never forget that vacation! Neither will our budget😉

Who loves a good BLT? My first of the season! No unfortunately it’s not a home grown tomato yet, I live in Indiana but it was quite delicious! When are you able to start getting home grown produce where you live? I know all you southern peeps are blessed with year round fresh goodness!
