⭐ 2025 Tourism Award Winner: This year’s Volunteer Award was proudly presented to Sue Livers for her incredible dedication to Madison and Jefferson County.

Sue has generously donated her time, talents, and knowledge to countless organizations and events throughout the years, including the Jefferson County History & Art Center, Juneteenth and Black History Month celebrations, Madison PRIDE, the Broadway School Reunion, and so much more.

Whether she’s sharing her deep knowledge of the community’s role in the Underground Railroad network, helping organize important cultural and historical events, or stepping into character as Patsy Harris, Sue is always just a phone call away and ready to help wherever she’s needed.

Madison and Jefferson County are incredibly fortunate to have someone so passionate, dedicated, and selfless in our community. Congratulations, Sue, and thank you for the countless ways you continue to make a difference! 💛

🇺🇸 This Memorial Day, we honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country.

Today is a reminder that freedom is never simple, and that generations before us made difficult choices, endured great sacrifice, and gave everything for the future of others.

From all of us at Visit Madison, we thank and remember those who served.

💛 👋Join us as we say goodbye and good luck to our spring intern! Audrey, a senior at Madison Consolidated High School, interned with us this past semester to learn more about marketing and tourism. During her time here, she helped create content for our social media channels, developed content calendars for both REVerie Roads and Serpent of 62, and gained experience in email marketing, graphic design, and blog writing.

In addition to her marketing projects, Audrey also assisted with several events throughout the semester, including the Taste of Ireland Trolley Crawl, Girls Weekend, and more. We are so grateful for all of her hard work and creativity during her internship with us!

We’re wishing Audrey a fun and relaxing summer! Be sure to visit her at the front desk of Crystal Beach Aquatic Park before she heads off to Miami University in Ohio this fall. Best of luck, Audrey; we know you’ll do amazing things!

⭐ 2025 Tourism Award Winner Spotlight: This year’s 7-Day Star Award was proudly presented to Ralph London and Justin Preece, owners of James Dell, Love Betty Bridal, and Betty Jeffries.

Ralph and Justin truly embody what it means to show up for your community. From building Madison into a regional destination for prom and bridal shopping to successfully operating not one, but three small businesses, their passion and dedication are evident in everything they do.

Their impact extends far beyond retail. Whether it’s creating a scholarship to help cover prom attire expenses, steaming dresses and suits ahead of life’s biggest moments, opening their doors for photos, or continually finding ways to support the community, they consistently go above and beyond for both visitors and locals alike.

And when their own business faced hardship following the recent fire at Trinity Methodist, the community returned that same support right back to them. Volunteers rallied together to help move dresses and ensure countless brides still had their special day. It was a powerful reminder of the impact Ralph and Justin have had on this community and how deeply they are valued in return.

To have multiple businesses operating seven days a week is a true testament to their work ethic, commitment, and love for this community. Congratulations, Ralph and Justin, and thank you for all you do for Madison! ✨
