Your boss isn't paying you for ALL your time. 👀
Here's what most workers don't realize is actually WAGE THEFT:

❌ Clocking out before finishing required tasks
❌ Unpaid training or safety briefings
❌ Working through lunch "just this once"
❌ Being on-call without compensation
❌ Suiting up in PPE on your own time

These minutes add up. Sometimes, thousands of dollars.

Josephson Dunlap has helped workers across the country, and we're ready to fight for you, too.

Don't leave your money on the table. ⚖️

"Donning" means putting on. "Doffing" means taking off. Simple words, but they carry serious legal weight in the workplace.
If your job requires you to wear a hard hat, protective suit, steel-toed boots, or any other mandatory gear before you can start working, the time it takes to put that on and take it off is not your time. It's work time. And work time is paid time.

Many workers spend 15, 20, or even 30 minutes every single day suiting up and down, and never see a dime for it. That adds up to hours of stolen wages every week.
At Josephson Dunlap, we fight for every minute you've earned. If your employer isn't paying you from the moment your workday truly begins, you may have a wage claim.

Wage theft doesn’t always look like someone stealing from the register. Sometimes it looks like a 30-minute break you never actually took. A “quick favor” text after clocking out. 50 hours on the schedule and zero overtime on the check. 💸
If any of these hit too close to home, you could be owed back wages,  and we can help you.

Many healthcare workers in Pennsylvania don't realize this, but forcing you to stay past your scheduled shift is against the law.
Pennsylvania's Act 102 was created specifically to protect direct care staff: nurses, CNAs, technicians, and hourly clinical workers. The rule is simple. Overtime must be voluntary. Your employer does not get to decide that for you.

There are narrow exceptions, but "we're short-staffed" is not one of them.
If you've been pressured or threatened into staying late, that's worth looking into.
At Josephson Dunlap, we fight for workers who've been taken advantage of.

Your employer cannot make you sign away your overtime rights. Period. 🚫📋
The FLSA is federal law. No contract, agreement, or company policy can override it. If you're working over 40 hours a week, you may be owed overtime pay.

⏳ How long do you have to file a wage claim?

For most workers across the U.S., only 2 to 3 years under federal law. But if you work in a state like New York or Maine, the law gives you something most states don't: up to 6 years to fight for what you're owed.

Unpaid overtime. Missing wages. Stolen tips. The clock is ticking, but you may have more time than you think.

Your employer isn't above the law, and the law gives you the right to prove it.

Under 29 U.S.C. § 216(b), workers who've been denied minimum wage or overtime can take their employer to court and recover every dollar owed, plus an equal amount in liquidated damages. And attorneys' fees? Covered too. That means the law was written so that your financial situation is never a barrier to getting justice.

If you've ever clocked out and wondered whether your paycheck actually reflected your work, this one's for you. 👇
