✨ I’m going to be a little MIA for the next week… ✨

And I promise, it’s for a VERY good reason. 😉

I’m headed out for a pretty incredible Disney Destinations training experience — spending time touring Walt Disney World resorts, learning the ins and outs of what each one has to offer, and then getting onboard the Disney Wish for a ship tour! 🚢✨

This isn’t just a fun Disney trip (although I’m definitely not complaining about that part 😂). It’s an opportunity to learn, explore, ask questions, see things firsthand, and bring that knowledge back to my clients.

Because the more I know, the better I can help you find the resort, room, dining, cruise, and experiences that actually fit your family.

So if I’m a little quiet next week…
I’m probably touring a resort, walking a ship, taking approximately 947 pictures, or soaking up as much Disney knowledge as humanly possible. 😂

✨ A Perfect Way to End a Disney World Trip ✨

There may not be a better way to wrap up a Walt Disney World vacation than with character breakfast at Topolino’s Terrace before heading to Port Canaveral to board a Disney Cruise! 🛳️✨

Located at Disney’s Riviera Resort, Topolino’s Terrace is absolutely beautiful. And if you arrive a little early, be sure to step out onto the terrace to take in those gorgeous views! 🌴☀️

But the views aren’t the only reason this breakfast is one of my favorites…

🎨 The character experience is SO much fun!
Mickey, Minnie, Donald & Daisy all visited our table, gave our kiddos hugs, and signed their autograph books. They also make their way around the restaurant for a couple of fun little dances to the music.

And our servers were fantastic. They made sure we didn’t leave until all four characters had visited our table — something I really appreciated when traveling with kids!

🥐 And then there’s the FOOD.

Breakfast starts with the cutest pastry spread — served in an adorable little paint bucket with a brush-style knife and individual “paint cups” filled with different jams. 🎨

We tried:

🧇 Mickey waffle dippers
🥩 Wood-Fired Steak & Eggs — MY FAVORITE!
🍳 Two eggs any style
🍞 French toast

Everything was delicious! The French toast is definitely on the sweeter side, but it was SO good. 🤤

And then there’s the whole experience — beautiful restaurant, incredible views, character interaction, delicious food and a relaxing way to start a travel day.

Overall rating: 12/10. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This will absolutely continue to be one of my top recommendations for a Disney World character meal, especially if you’re pairing a Walt Disney World stay with a Disney Cruise.

The Candlelight Processional is held nightly at 4:45, 6:30 and 8:00 PM, featuring a full orchestra, Voices of Liberty and a huge choir performing the Christmas story.

Candlelight Processional Dining Packages open October 14 and include a meal at select EPCOT restaurants PLUS reserved seating for the show.

Just remember: reserved seating doesn’t mean a reserved spot within the section, so arriving early is still a good idea if you want the best view.

🎃🚢 What to Pack for Halloween on the High Seas

Heading out on a Halloween on the High Seas cruise? 👻🛳️

Packing for a Disney cruise is a little different from packing for a regular vacation, and adding Halloween into the mix means there are a few things you definitely don’t want to forget!

Here are some of my must-pack items:

🎃 Your Halloween costume!
Whether you’re going all-out or keeping it simple with a festive shirt, ears, or DisneyBound, bring something fun! And remember—comfort matters. You’ll probably be wearing it for several hours.

👻 Costumes for the kids
If your kids love dressing up, let them have fun with it! Just keep the weather and comfort in mind. 😂

👜 Your embarkation day bag
This is a BIG one! Your checked luggage will not be at your stateroom right away, so pack a small bag with the things you’ll want access to that afternoon.

I recommend including:

* 👕 A change of clothes — especially if you’re planning to hit the pool!
* 🥤 Empty refillable water bottles — fill them once you’re onboard.
* 📱 Phone charger
* 💊 Any medications you need
* 🧴 Sunscreen
* 🩱 Swimsuit
* 📄 Anything important you don’t want in your checked luggage

Basically, think: “What would I be annoyed to not have for the first several hours?” Put those things in your embarkation bag!

🧴 Skip packing the basic toiletries!
Disney Cruise Line provides shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in your stateroom—and they’re actually favorites of mine! Unless you have specific products you prefer or need, that’s three things you can leave at home.

☀️ Pack for warm weather!
It’s Halloween, but you’re still cruising somewhere warm! Don’t forget sunscreen, sunglasses, swimsuits, sandals, and lightweight clothing.

📱 Download the Navigator app
Once you’re onboard, this is your go-to for checking activities, schedules, dining information, and everything happening around the ship.

🎃 Bring a little Halloween magic!
Halloween pajamas, festive ears, family shirts, or a small stateroom decoration can make the trip even more fun without taking up much suitcase space.

And remember: you don’t need to pack everything! Disney Cruise Line provides quite a few things onboard, so save that suitcase space for souvenirs. 😉 Ask your agent for a detailed list 🧡

🌴 A little Castaway Cay hair tip!

Did you know you can get your hair braided right on Disney’s Castaway Cay? 🏝️✨

No appointment needed! Just stop by while you’re enjoying your day on the island.

And this is one of those little things that can make the rest of your cruise so much easier.

Your hair is out of your face, easy to manage, and ready to go for those sea days when you wake up and don’t want to spend 30 minutes figuring out what to do with it. 🙌🏼

Plus… look how cute! 😍

🌺 PRO TIP: Don’t forget to put sunscreen on your scalp afterward!

Those little parts between the braids are VERY exposed to that Bahamian sun, and you don’t want a sunburn on your scalp. It HURTS!🫠
