The end of an era. It feels kind of ridiculous to say about a stroller… but here I am getting sentimental over baby gear.
But it feels bigger than that.
There was a time we literally chose cars based on whether the trunk could fit this stroller. If it didn’t fit, we didn’t even test drive it.
And now I’m clearing space on the garage shelf because it’s just sitting there taking up room.
How did we go from planning life around it… to not needing it at all?
This stroller has been with me for nearly a decade … from neighborhood walks to walks down Main Street, USA the tires almost bald from all the miles.
It held naps in the shade, sweatshirts, snacks, souvenirs + basically my entire mom life. ((There’s definitely still crushed Goldfish hiding in it somewhere!))
It started with tiny little bodies & little toes that didn’t even peek over the edge… and somehow turned into long legs dangling off the front, tennies almost dragging the ground.
For years they fit side by side, buckled in, close enough for me to reach forward & squeeze a hand while we walked.
Now they walk beside to me … only sometimes still reaching for my hand.
👉 So instead of letting it collect dust, I’d really love for it to keep going.
It’s no longer an everyday stroller. But now a magical adventure stroller. A nap holding, snack hauling, memory making kind of stroller.
If you have a trip coming up & need a good, trusty stroller for Disney or travel, I’m happy to pass this one along locally in Greensburg.
And when you’re done with it, just promise you’ll pass the magic along to the next family.
I know there’s still a lot of miles left in this magical stroller. ✨
