🌿 Disney Recap: Animal Kingdom Day! 🦒💜

Day 4 brought us to Animal Kingdom, and this day was extra special because my sister-in-law and her family joined us for their VERY FIRST Disney World trip! 🥹✨

I absolutely LOVED getting to share our special place with them, but watching my niece get so excited to see my girls was just 😍 My heart!

We started the morning with some pictures in front of the Tree of Life before heading over to Kilimanjaro Safaris. 🦁

One of my biggest tips for the safari? Go early! The hotter it gets, the less interested the animals are in moving around, so mornings are your best bet for spotting them in action.

After our safari, we grabbed some breakfast, enjoyed some dancing in Africa, and ran into Russell! Then we hopped on the train to Conservation Station to meet Bluey & Bingo! 💙🐾

This was such a cute activity for the kids, and a great way to let them burn off some energy while having fun!

We spent a little more time exploring Animal Kingdom before calling it a day. And let me tell you… this was officially our HOTTEST day yet! 🥵☀️

That evening, our group headed to one of our new favorites, Whispering Canyon Cafe, for dinner. And if you know, you know… don’t forget to ask for ketchup! 😉🍅

When we got back to our room, housekeeping had left some fun decorations that kept the Disney magic going. ✨ The little touches make such a difference!

Time to rest up for another FULL park day! 😴🏰💜

✨ Disney Recap: Magic Kingdom Day! 🏰💜

Day 3 took us to Magic Kingdom! We hopped on the boat from Wilderness Lodge and headed over for a full day of magic.

We missed rope drop this morning, but with the lower crowds, our wait times really weren’t bad at all! 🙌🏼

We started in Adventureland with Jungle Cruise. If you enjoy a relaxing boat ride filled with silly dad jokes, this one is for you! 😂 We also squeezed in Aladdin’s Magic Carpets and Tiana’s Bayou Adventure before it was time for the girls’ Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique reservations! 👑✨

Our oldest had her heart set on Moana, and after some research ahead of our trip, we knew the boutique didn’t carry her dress. So, we picked one up the night before at EPCOT! Our youngest was dead set on Jasmine, and that’s exactly who she got. 💙💚

Watching them get pampered and treated like princesses was the sweetest thing (as if they don’t already get treated like royalty 😂). And getting a couple of hours in the air conditioning during that Florida heat? A win for everyone! 🥵

After visiting with the Fairy Godmother herself, we made the most of the rest of our evening with Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, TRON, and Haunted Mansion before the rain rolled in! ⛈️

By the end of the night, we were COMPLETELY exhausted. So naturally, we watched the fireworks from our room on the TV. 😂🎆 Sometimes that’s the Disney magic you need!

Another magical day in the books! 💜🏰

Day 2 of our Disney trip was our first park day, and we kicked things off at EPCOT! 🌐💜

We rope dropped Test Track and walked right on, then made our way over to Spaceship Earth — both before the park officially opened at 9am! 🙌🏼

Next up was Guardians of the Galaxy with our Lightning Lane, and it was my youngest’s FIRST time riding! She was definitely a little unsure at first… but apparently not too unsure because she rode it again later! 😂🚀 This is still one of my favorite rides in all of Disney.

While part of our group headed to Soarin’, I took my oldest over to Goofycore for some dance time and games with Goofy & Max. 💃🏼🐶 This ended up being one of my favorite moments of the day. The character interactions were SO much fun, and we got so much time with them!

Of course, we had to eat our way around World Showcase too. 🍕🇮🇹 Pizza in Italy, caramel goodies from Karamell-Küche in Germany, and a fry flight from the fry cart for me! 🍟

The family even squeezed in another ride on Test Track before we called it a day and headed back to the pool. After a long, HOT day at EPCOT, that swim was exactly what we needed! ☀️🏊🏼‍♀️

We got back from Disney last week, so get ready for ALL the recap photos! ✨🏰💜

September is a GREAT time to visit for lower crowds, but that Florida heat is still VERY real! 🥵☀️

For our first day, we kept things nice and relaxed with some time at the splash pad at Wilderness Lodge and a little shopping at Disney Springs. 🛍️💦

I love a good arrival day that doesn’t involve rushing into the parks!

Our next Disney adventure is just over a month away, and I think I’m just as excited as the kids! 🏰✨

The planning has officially started — packing lists, dining plans, Lightning Lanes, and of course… Disney outfits! 😆👗

This is the part of the trip where the excitement really starts to feel real. I love putting together all the little details that make the trip extra special (and yes, matching Disney outfits are part of the fun!).

Every vacation reminds me why I love helping other families plan theirs. There is nothing better than watching all the little details come together to create memories that last long after the trip is over.
