I still can’t believe this was our view at 5 AM. 🥹🏔️

I was tired.
Like… really tired. 😂

But I heard my alarm go off and knew I couldn’t miss it.
So I got up.
Grabbed my coffee. ☕️
Opened the door.
And walked out onto the balcony…
And this was waiting for me. 🥹🩵

Mountains stretching as far as I could see.
The water was so calm.
The air was quiet.
And for a few minutes…

It felt like the entire world was asleep except for us.
Those are the moments I’ll remember.

Not just the big excursions.
Not just the ports we visited.

But standing on our balcony in the early morning…

Watching Alaska slowly wake up around us.

This is one of the reasons I fell in love with cruising.

Your vacation doesn’t stop when you get back to your cabin.
Sometimes, your cabin is where the magic happens. ✨

Especially on an Alaska cruise.

You can wake up.
Step outside.
And suddenly you’re surrounded by mountains, glaciers, wildlife, and scenery you could never see at home.

If you’re planning an Alaska cruise, here’s my biggest tip:

Don’t underestimate the value of your cabin location.
For Alaska, I especially love having a balcony if it works with your budget.
Because you never know when the view outside is going to be the view.

And having the freedom to step outside whenever you want?
Worth it. 🩵

Bring your coffee.
Bring binoculars.
Keep your camera nearby.

And most importantly…
Give yourself time to just be there.
Because vacations go by way too fast.

And sometimes the quiet little moments end up being the ones you remember forever. 🥹

Would you wake up at 5 AM for this view?

come spend the morning with us as we cruise through Endicott Arm to see Dawes Glacier 🏔️🧊🚢

Coffee in hand, mountains all around us, ice floating by, and then… seeing Dawes Glacier come into view was absolutely breathtaking. ☕️💙

It was one of those mornings where Jon and I kept looking around thinking, “How is this real life?” 😍

Alaska really has a way of making you slow down, take it all in, and appreciate just how incredibly beautiful the world around us is. ✨
