This morning, our CVB team had the honor of attending the opening ceremony for the Vietnam Traveling Memorial Wall at Crandall Park in Glens Falls.

It was a moving morning of remembrance, bringing our community together to honor Vietnam veterans and remember the more than 58,000 men and women who lost their lives in service during the Vietnam War.

We are grateful to the veterans, organizers, local officials, volunteers and community partners who helped bring this powerful tribute to Warren County and provided an opportunity for our community and visitors to honor, remember and reflect.

The Vietnam Traveling Memorial Wall, along with the 9/11 Memorial Wall, will remain on display at Crandall Park 24 hours a day through Sunday, August 23. We encourage those in the Lake George Area this weekend to take the opportunity to visit and pay their respects.

Another great monthly Lake George Regional Convention & Visitors Bureau meeting!

This month, we gathered at (SAIL). A big thank you to Cam and the SAIL team for hosting us and sharing more about the important work they do throughout our community.

We especially enjoyed learning about SAIL’s equipment lending program, which provides free access to wheelchairs, beach chairs, crutches and other mobility equipment—an incredible resource that can help make experiences throughout the Lake George Region more accessible to visitors of all abilities.

Thank you to all of our CVB partners who joined us! We always appreciate seeing our familiar faces each month, and it was wonderful to welcome some new faces to the table as well. These meetings give us an opportunity to share updates, learn more about one another and continue building connections across our region.

Thank you again to SAIL for welcoming us!

Kayla has been busy representing the Lake George Area at two Travel Group events! ✨

She recently attended Small & Boutique Meetings in Annapolis, Maryland, followed by Destination East at Windrose on Hudson in Ossining, New York.

Between one-on-one appointments, networking and industry education, Kayla connected with meeting professionals, learned more about upcoming programs and shared what makes the Lake George Area a standout destination for meetings, retreats and group events.

At Destination East, she was also joined by Allie from The Queensbury Hotel — another great opportunity to have our region represented and build connections with planners from across the industry.

We’re excited to see where these new conversations and connections lead!

The Lake George Regional Chamber of Commerce & CVB had a wonderful time at the Empire State Society of Association Executives, Inc. Annual Conference & Trade Show in Saratoga Springs yesterday.

Kayla Hunsinger and Brian C. Mulligan connected with association executives, meeting planners, and industry partners while promoting the Lake George Area as a destination for meetings, conferences, and events.

The Lake George Area was well represented throughout the trade show, with Rob from The Fort William Henry Hotel, Marcia from Courtyard By Marriott Lake George George, Stephanie Ottino from The Queensbury Hotel, and Kim Keenan from The Sagamore Resort sharing information about their properties and meeting facilities. We also enjoyed participating in the event's scavenger hunt, which provided a fun opportunity to engage with attendees throughout the day.

Thank you to Carrie Laney and the ESSAE team for hosting another fantastic event. We appreciate all the work that goes into bringing the association community together each year.
