Last week, the Lake George Area was proud to join thousands of travel professionals from around the world at IPW in Fort Lauderdale — one of the travel industry’s largest international marketplaces! 🌎✨

Over the course of the week, our Senior Sales & Services Manager, Brian, completed 40+ one-on-one appointments with tour operators, travel buyers, and industry partners, sharing all the reasons travelers should add the Lake George Area to their must-visit list. From lakeside experiences and Adirondack adventures to year-round events and small-town charm, there was plenty to talk about!

IPW is all about building connections, sparking future travel opportunities, and bringing destinations to a global audience — and we’re excited about the conversations and relationships that came out of this year’s event.

A big thank you to U.S. Travel Association and Visit Lauderdale for hosting such an incredible week!

A site visit worth sharing 🤝
The Lake George Regional CVB sales team recently toured — and it’s easy to see why this historic campus stands out for group business in the Lake George Area.

Historic charm meets modern flexibility — from the gymnasium where James Naismith the creator of basketball 🏀 once taught the game to updated meeting spaces built for today’s planners.
Endless options for groups — think team building on the water 🌊 , sports on-site, and creative workshops all in one place.
🛠️ Built for every type of gathering — conferences, weddings, sports tournaments, and retreats, all set along the shores of Lake George.
A big thank you to the Silver Bay team for the warm welcome — we’re looking forward to seeing it in full swing this season!
Planning ahead? Let’s connect.
