I took this photo of the Parthenon from my hotel last month, and it doesn't even begin to capture the way it felt in person. Taking in the Acropolis every evening was one of the highlights of my time in Athens before embarking on the Celestyal Journey.

When you’re taking a Mediterranean cruise, I can’t overstate how important it is to give yourself some extra time in the destination before sailing. Two generations of Celebrity cruise ships, side by side in Piraeus. 🇬🇷🚢

Celebrity Infinity, one of Celebrity’s oldest ships and a member of the Millennium class, and Celebrity Xcel, the newest addition to the fleet and the latest member of the Edge class, were both in port in Greece last month.

Twenty-four years separate their maiden voyages, yet both looked absolutely stunning in the Mediterranean sun. Proof that great ship design can stand the test of time!

Last weekend, I returned from an amazing week and a half in Greece, Croatia, Montenegro and Italy with Celestyal Cruises.

With a pre-cruise land component in Athens and visits to four countries and seven ports across seven days, it was an incredible destination-immersive experience. Highlights included iconic destinations like Dubrovnik and Kotor, as well as under-the-radar gems like Kefalonia (my personal favorite!) and Bari, home to St. Nicholas and a real Italian culinary highlight. John Diorio said this was his favorite itinerary, and after doing it myself, I can totally see why!

From medieval city walls to underground lakes, the original Olympic stadium to the Acropolis, there was no shortage of WOW moments throughout the trip.

I have so much more to share about the experience, much of which will be included in my September client newsletter.
