The last week has been a blur of activities as we set off on our 61-day Ultimate Eastern Provinces tour with 23 other Renegade RV owners. Our activities included orientation, travel meeting, a welcome dinner, and a tour of Montreal's key sites. We visited the Mary, Queen of the World Cathedral, Basilica of Notre Dame, St Joseph's Oratory, and enjoyed a panoramic view of downtown Montreal from Mount Royal Park. The Biosphere, an environmental museum that served as the U.S. pavilion during the 1967 World's Fair, was also on our list. Our tour will next take us to Quebec.

Having wrapped up an exhilarating week at the Renegade Rally, we are currently immersed in preparations for our tour of the Canadian Eastern Provinces.

Our to-do list is extensive, encompassing everything from emails and phone calls to shopping and logistical arrangements. As we prepare to depart for Montreal in a few days, the excitement is building for the commencement of our journey.

24 rigs will embark on an extraordinary adventure, exploring Quebec, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, Newfoundland, and Nova Scotia for 61 days. It's life-changing.

As a navigational aid, I use a truck atlas to confirm routes chosen by my GPS and highlight routes traveled. This system has worked well. It's interesting to reflect on our travels since 2017, and it has become clear that we need more time to explore the Upper Midwest region. Hit me up with suggestions! 2026 is booked but 2027 is wide open. (Sort of 😉)

POLAR BEAR SIGHTING - TWILLINGATE
(April 30th)

The Twillingate RCMP wishes to advise residents that there has been a reported polar bear sighting on the South Island of Twillingate, specifically in the French Beach Trail area.

Residents and visitors are asked to use extreme caution and avoid the area at this time if at all possible.
