K Team is easy to get into thanks to all of the rules for every team being free on Warhammer Community and in the brand new smartphone app. However, for those who are looking for something that is convenient, clean, and ready to go immediately with no signal required, there are datacards available for purchase for every single team; including those teams assembled from normal 40K kits.

Order them at my in-store kiosk and you don't pay for shipping; a great way to make your set-up and in-game rules checking that much easier.

Credit to Nick for painting up this awesome Stormcast Eternal in the Astral Templars color scheme! By carefully using purple contrast paint over a black and metallic base, a "candy coat" effect is achieved and a beautiful metallic purple armor is the result. All of these awesome Nurgle drops will be up for pre-order starting at 10 am tomorrow. The new Combat Patrol and Battle Force boxes are fantastic ways to leap into the Death Guard or just beef up the forces that you already have. And if you already have your army, then a nice limited codex with tokens or those beautiful Nurgle dice can be a great compliment to your forces.

Remember folks; when you preorder in my store, you get to make your orders early and you skip straight to the front of the line, so no waiting around in a digital queue. If you are trying to get your hands on any of these items, the best possible way to do so is to get to my store early (9:30 - 9:45ish) tomorrow and preorder with me at the in-store kiosk.

The skirmish game wall is packed to the brim currently! Warhammer Age of Sigmar and 40,000 are awesome games, but if you want to try something different, that's where these all come in. Whether you want to play as an elite squad of super soldiers, a gang of miscreants and mutants, or just get a game of American Football in (but with orcs and daemons and zombies), the skirmish games are a great way to enjoy the fun of building and painting minis, while trying a completely new and fun gameplay experience.

We've got some serious Tyranids vs Salamanders action going on down here at Warhammer Modesto. Malaki vs Krisitina are throwing down, using the in-store board and terrain to make their battle thematic and aesthetic. I have terrain and tables to accommodate just about any sized game, so if you ever need a place to get a good Warhammer battle in, Modesto is the spot!

Thank you to the folks who have been coming by and learning to paint. Painting is very easy to learn and I love to teach people, from beginners with no experience to seasoned folks who are just trying to learn a new technique. Jacob had never painted a Warhammer mini before and he was able to make his demo infernus Marine into an awesome Night Lord, trying highlighting and decals during his first learn to paint session! Any time the store is open, come on down, do a learn to paint, and leave with your first painted up mini!

Attention all Black Library fans: This limited edition print of "Fulgrim: The Perfect Son" goes up for preorder tomorrow. Each book is individually numbered (one of 2006) and is signed by the author. These novels will go very quickly, but for all of those fans who are trying to preorder one for yourself, I can basically guarantee that you'll be able to get one if you are outside of the store tomorrow, about 15 minutes before I open. My in-store ordering points skips straight to the front of the line, so as long as you are here early, I never have any problems getting people their preorders; even on very popular items!

Thank you to all of the folks who stopped by this weekend. I'm happy to say that every single Krieg engineer found a home, but there will be a new awesome mini of the month for folks to come by and collect at the start of May.
