We are so EXCITED!
GRAND OPENING PLOT TWIST!
We’re pushing the party back ONE WEEK!
Well… apparently the new Birds Nest on Main needed to make sure we had at least one more plumbing story before officially opening.
Unfortunately, we had a pipe break outside that needs to be repaired before we open the doors at our new home.
So, due to circumstances completely out of our control, our Grand Opening will be postponed by ONE WEEK.
And honestly? We’re choosing to look at this as a silver lining.
Rather than open, discover a problem, shut down, repair it, reopen, panic, shut down again, and generally make everyone’s busy season a little more exciting than necessary… we’re going to get it FIXED and get it done right
A huge THANK YOU to the Town for working with us and helping make sure we can get this taken care of properly and keep things smooth sailing through our busy season. We appreciate everyone who is helping us navigate this little plot twist.
ALL of our grand opening plans, events, and schedules will simply move back ONE WEEK.
We’ll release the updated schedule ASAP!
And in the meantime…
THE ORIGINAL BIRDS NEST IS STILL OPEN AND RUNNING AS USUAL!
So if you were planning to come celebrate with us this week — DON’T CANCEL THE BIRDS NEST. Just change the address!
And yes… while the Henhouse Bar apparently pulled an Irish goodbye and left us standing there wondering where it went…
You now have ONE MORE WEEK to enjoy the Birds Nest Cafe on Franklin Street!
Come see us. Eat the food. Have a drink. Say goodbye to the old place properly. Maybe tell the Henhouse Bar we miss her.
Then we’ll see you ONE WEEK LATER at our new home on Main Street for the biggest, happiest, most hopefully-drama-free grand opening Nashville has ever seen.
