Most of us have a very fixed picture of Christmas. It feels familiar and expected, with traditions that we observe whether we understand their origins or not.

But the holiday itself is much older, and it has been marked in very different ways across time and place.

This year, we are doing something a little different at Living History Natchez. We are building a Christmas experience grounded in those earlier traditions and the layers of history behind them.

We have a major announcement coming soon, and we think it is going to be something special!

Tickets will be EXTREMELY limited, so become a member today for early access, discounts, and more! Livinghistorynatchez.com

Success is a beautiful thing, but it’s never the destination.

Our 2026 season didn’t just meet expectations, it redefined them. New audiences discovered Natchez, historic doors opened to fresh stories, and together we proved that history is not something to observe quietly, it’s something to experience, to feel, to carry with you long after you’ve gone home.

And now? We build.

We are already deep into plans for the rest of this year and moving boldly into 2027, shaping experiences that are larger, more immersive, and unlike anything we’ve done before. There are events on the horizon we aren’t quite ready to reveal yet, the kind that deserve a proper unveiling.

If you want to be first to know, this is your moment.

Become a Living History Natchez member today to unlock early access to tickets, exclusive experiences, and member-only pricing. The next chapter is already being written, and members will be the first to step inside.

Success, to us, has never been a ledger.

It isn’t measured in what stays in our pockets, but in what leaves footprints across our streets. Its in curiosity sparked, in stories carried home, in the moment someone stands in a centuries-old room and feels history breathe.

And by that measure, this year was extraordinary.

1,338 guests joined us for Living History Natchez
From 42 states and 3 countries

They didn’t just pass through; they stayed, they lingered and they learned.
An average of four days spent walking our streets, stepping inside our homes, and discovering the deep, layered beauty of Natchez’s cultural and architectural legacy.

In just six days of tours, those 1,338 visitors generated $2.4 million for our local economy.

Across both weekends:
55% were first-time visitors (with even more new faces in weekend two)
And the number that matters most…
100% said they will return.

That is success.

Not just numbers, not just economics, but a widening circle of people who now carry Natchez with them.

We’ve been thinking about you.
It’s only been a couple of weeks, and we already miss having you here.
There’s a certain quiet that settles in after the doors close and the last guests head home. The porches grow still. The gardens rest for a moment. And somehow, it all feels just a little different without the conversations, the laughter, and the excitement of people moving through.
Because what made it special wasn’t just the homes.
It was you.
After welcoming more than 1,300 visitors this spring, we’re already looking ahead, and we would love to have you back.
Save the Date for Spring Tour 2027 — March 11–14 and March 18–21, 2027!
If you were here, you know the feeling.
The way a place can slow you down just enough to notice things again. The way a conversation lingers a little longer than expected.
And if you weren’t here, we think you’d feel right at home.
Next year, we’re building on what made this one so memorable: more stories, more moments, and even more ways to experience Natchez in a way that feels easy, welcoming, and just a little hard to leave behind.
And truth be told, we won’t wait quite that long to see you again.
There are a few things already taking shape between now and next spring… and we think you’ll want to be part of them!
For those who like to be just a step ahead, membership is the easiest way in.
LHN members hear first, book first, enjoy a bit of preferred pricing, and find themselves a little closer to it all.

Until then, consider this your postcard and your invitation.

We’ll be here waiting for you.

We are still catching our breath, because every single Living History Natchez event SOLD OUT. And then, somehow, you all kept coming.

What began as hope turned into something far bigger than we could have imagined. Demand exceeded even our most optimistic projections, and in true Natchez fashion, we found a way to say “yes” a few more times than we probably should have, adding tickets we didn’t technically have, simply because we couldn’t bear to turn you away.

The numbers? Beyond anything we dared to dream.

But what matters most is who made those numbers.

To our extraordinary homeowners; thank you for trusting us in this inaugural year. You opened not just your doors, but your histories, your craftsmanship, your stories. You are the soul of this tour.

To our community partners; every sponsor, volunteer, artisan, musician, and collaborator, thank you for standing shoulder to shoulder with us as we built something new. Your belief carried us.

And to our guests; this is where words feel far too small.

You came from across the country and around the world to be here. You walked our streets, stepped across thresholds that hold centuries of stories, sat at our tables, watched our sunsets, and became part of something we are only just beginning to understand.

You didn’t just attend.
You believed.

And because of that, Living History Natchez is no longer an idea. It is a movement.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you.

We cannot wait to welcome you back.

Some tours show you rooms.
We introduce you to the people who never quite left them.

At Living History Natchez, doors don’t just open… centuries do. You don’t walk past roped-off parlors, you step into conversations, candlelight, music, and moments that feel just slightly too real to be staged.

This isn’t a script recited. It’s a story unfolding around you.
Reenactors who breathe life into history. Homes that still whisper. Evenings that linger long after the last porch light fades.

If you’ve ever wanted to feel history instead of just see it…
you’ll understand the difference the moment you arrive.
