Ever since my shop was built we’ve been wanting to pour a driveway. When the snow was melting and when we get rain that driveway turns into an absolute mud hole. Well, we now have a very nice concrete driveway. Added bonus, I’ve been working on getting the girts and ceiling joists up. I also have working on electrical and I have lots of light in my shop now. Yay! Now time to do some landscaping. Shout out to for the building and the driveway. They do awesome work.

Went to Interstate State Park today to check out the trails. It’s only 15 minutes away and is on the banks of the St. Croix river. There aren’t a lot of miles of trails but what there is, is beautiful. Couple of campgrounds, a small lake, 200’ bluffs overlooking the river. I’ll be back to check out more trails. Best of all, I bought an annual Wisconsin state park pass for a whopping $15.

Signed up for another race. I haven’t run 50 miles in years so I’m going into this one with a bit of anxiety. Training has been going well, just not nearly as fast as I used to be. Just means more time to enjoy the trail.
Meanwhile it’s winter here in northern Wisconsin and my shop build is progressing nicely. I’m hoping (they are too) that it’ll be completely enclosed by the end of this week.

Progress on the shop. Water line and electric are trenched in, propane is next. The sheet metal is starting to go on the roof.
