Friends, I was recently contacted by the team at Letbunniesfly and asked if Leave No Paws Behind USA would help support their mission.
After learning more about their work, I said yes.
For those who may not know, Let Bunnies Fly is advocating for humane airline policies that would allow pet rabbits to travel safely in the cabin with their families. They aren't approaching this issue with emotion alone they are doing the WORK. They are collecting data, gathering family experiences, consulting with veterinarians, researching airline policies, and building a fact-based case for change.
Now, military families, this is where you come in.
We know better than most what it means to move. PCS orders, overseas assignments, embassy postings, training pipelines, unexpected relocations we've lived it. We've also seen the sacrifices families make to keep their pets with them.
If you own a rabbit, have owned a rabbit, or know a military family that has struggled to relocate a rabbit due to airline restrictions, your story matters.
Data changes minds.
Stories change policy.
Let Bunnies Fly is working to document the real-world impact these policies have on families. The more information they can gather, the stronger their case becomes when speaking with airlines, policymakers, and industry stakeholders.
Whether your move cost thousands of dollars, delayed your orders, forced difficult decisions, or created unnecessary stress, they want to hear from you.
