This crew said we would like to fish this weekend and “what”during one of the biggest tournaments on the lake. You have to sniff out a little quiet corner to fish. Well we found that little corner, leaving the dock at 5 am certainly helps when they’re sending 100 plus boats at 6am with a bit of fog on the water…. A quick morning of doubles, triples and a quad along with a tough bunch on the rods we made short work of their limit…….these are the mornings you work for…..
If you think you’re up for an early morning (or late evening ) we still have some openings peppered about over the rest of the season.

Well guys it’s that time again, and we are just in time, little 2 1/2 hour shake down this morning and todays mate is not holding up her end at the back of the boat. We landed 4 some place around 10-12 bites kind of lost track doubles and triples, I said enough with my late start (7 am) at 9:30 and called it. Let the one laker go back to the lake and kept 3 good kings…… spring kings don’t fight fair lol.

Well the water has cooled off a bit in Ludington and the fish are coming to the boat, lots of Coho snapping. These guys had a ball Saturday morning.
The next two weeks are about it and we’re off to the woods !! A big thank you to those that joined us this summer and we hope to get you back out again next year….If you want to sneak in one more trip or get on next years calendar it just takes a phone call to lock it up.

Good times with good people this weekend and Mother Nature has certainly gifted us with some fair skies and light breezes for this holiday weekend. Saturday was a quick trip and back in time for breakfast. Our cold water pocket shifted on us for this morning but not before we could get into a few steelhead again for a bit just hard to keep em all pinned. That Yeck gold fireball is still taking a lot of em up high.
