Last night I returned home from ALGV’s 2026 Ascend Conference feeling inspired and full of new knowledge and connections to help my clients plan unforgettable all-inclusive vacations! ✈️

There were over 90 travel suppliers at the conference including Inclusive Collection by Hyatt, Hilton All-Inclusive, Iberostar, Xcaret, Valentin Imperial Riviera Maya, Excellence, Atelier, Unico, Palladium, Royalton, Palace, Bahia Principe, Velas, Catalonia, Riu and SO many more! I loved connecting with so many knowledgeable reps to hear about the latest and greatest properties, but some of the BEST learning came from the conference breakout sessions focused on leadership, marketing, technology, client loyalty and other valuable skills that help travel advisors build and retain successful businesses. 📈

My favorite moment of the conference was the ultra-inspiring opening keynote speech from Will Guidara, author of Unreasonable Hospitality. Guidara's signature business philosophy advocates for taking ordinary consumer transactions and turning them into unforgettable, deeply human experiences. Ultimately he encouraged us to make whatever we do for others as impactful and magical whenever possible. I’m excited to read his book and apply his beautiful philosophy into my own life! 💖

Speaking of magic, I will always love helping my client families make magical memories at theme parks and on cruises, and I suspect these will continue to be my areas of expertise. I am so passionate about Disney Destinations and can’t wait to return to Walt Disney World in November and December. 🐭🥳

But as my business grows, I don’t have to limit my capabilities. I'm SO excited to have the tools and support to continue to expand my horizons and help my clients discover the beauty of the Caribbean and beyond, especially in the luxury market. ✈️🌎

I’d like to share a special thanks to our ALG Vacations BDM Shelly Williams for taking the time to connect each day and taking this primarily Disney-focused travel advisor under your beautiful, kind wings! And a very grateful thank you to Marti Blaine and Pack Happy Travel, for such an awesome opportunity to learn and grow at such a spectacular annual conference.

And finally, a huge shout-out to the entire ALG Vacations team for making this incredible conference so very special! The heart you put into the conference planning, your dedication to the industry and commitment to travel advisors truly shine!

I’ve been keeping a little secret since May! 🤫

I’m excited and honored to share that I received an invitation to attend the 2026 ALGV Ascend Conference which starts TODAY in beautiful Cancun, Mexico! I’ve boarded my flight will spend the next three day soaking it all in! ☀️🏖️🌊

Each year a select number of travel advisors are selected to attend the ALG Vacations (ALGV) Ascend Conference primarily based on their sales production, business growth potential, and commitment to working with ALG Vacations. For years it has been a dream of mine to attend this conference! 😍

One of the things I love most about being a travel advisor is helping families create magical memories at their favorite theme park destinations, from Disney and Universal to unforgettable cruises and beyond. 🏰🎡🎢🚢

But as my business continues to grow, so do my clients' dreams, travel interests, and opportunities to explore the world! 🌎 That's why attending ALGV’s Ascend Conference is so important to me. This is an incredible opportunity to learn, connect with travel industry professionals, meet with suppliers, and discover new destinations and experiences that I can share with my agency colleagues and my valued clients. 😍

Here's to an exciting and impactful next few days filled with new adventures, new connections, continuing education, and bringing home lots of inspiration for future vacations! 🥂🥳

Muppet Fans- did you hear the big announcement today? 🎸🎄 🙌

Beginning November 4, Rock ’n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets is turning up the holiday cheer at Disney’s Hollywood Studios with the appropriately named “Obligatory Holiday Overlay.” 🤣

Through January 6, The Electric Mayhem will swap their regular set list with four festive tracks:

🎶 “Little Saint Nick” – The Electric Mayhem

🎶 “Holiday Road” – The Electric Mayhem ft. Kermit the Frog and Fozzie Bear

🎶 “Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)” – The Electric Mayhem ft. Jennifer Hudson

🎶 “Silver Bells” – The Electric Mayhem ft. Cyndi Lauper

And the holiday takeover goes beyond the ride soundtrack. Festive music will fill the courtyard outside G-Force Records, while inside, Dr. Teeth, Animal, Floyd, Janice, Zoot and Lips are busy rehearsing for their holiday spectacular.

Now remember, this is The Muppets so preparations don’t exactly go according to plan. Gonzo, Rizzo, Scooter and a few familiar faces join the backstage chaos as the band gets ready to make it across town for the big holiday show.

My favorite coffee stop on Disney Cruise Line is at Cove Café, which creates beautiful, customized latte art featuring Mickey, Minnie, princesses, and other favorite characters. 😍
