Night of the Living Farmstead at Deanna Rose Children's Farmstead: Head to the Farmstead for Arts & Recreation Foundation of Overland Park’s annual event where you can watch mad science experiments, roast marshmallows, experience scary or fright-free hayrides and more! 🚜🧪🎃

NOW OPEN: Brody Rea's Boundless Playground at Blue Valley Recreation! 🛝☀️🦽

Designed for children of ALL abilities to play and explore, this fully-fenced in playground features:
• Inclusive swings designed to accommodate different support needs
• Poured-in-place surfacing that makes it easier to navigate the playground using wheelchairs and other mobility devices
• Wide ramps that go all the way to the top of the playground equipment
• Ground-level play features, sensory-rich activities & music stations
• Connected accessible pathways connecting the whole area
• Supportive entry and transfer options that provide more ways for children to independently access equipment
• Fully accessible restrooms with adult changing tables
• Shaded areas with seating and wheelchair accessible tables

We are so excited to welcome a space in Overland Park where children of all abilities can play alongside their siblings and friends, make memories and enjoy being kids. 💙

The weekend was packed with unforgettable moments, including welcoming over 5,800 spectators and watching Megan Fudge DeHeart win her record-tying 33rd career women’s gold!

Thank you to our incredible partners AdventHealth Sports Park at Bluhawk, The Golden Scoop, Lee Wybranski, Morton Salt and APP TOUR for making it such a memorable tournament.

We’re already counting down the days until next September to do it all over again!
