I’ve gained 15 lbs in the last 3.5 years to help myself become the strongest, healthiest version of myself— I was coming out of the worst depression I’ve ever had. Summer 2022 I was depressed, under eating, I had zero motivation to lift, I had just moved to NC— I was isolated and lonely.
I see lots of people claiming that their “bigger” selves was the “unhealthiest” version of themselves. For me, I was at my skinniest and most unhealthy, mentally and physically. Working to purposefully gain muscle has been a beautiful journey, one that’s helped me from the inside out ❤️‍🔥💪🏋🏼‍♀️
