The 79th Maine Lobster Festival was one to remember! Visitors joined us from all 50 states and more than 20 countries to celebrate Maine’s lobster industry and experience one of the state’s most beloved summer traditions. From longtime Festival favorites to exciting new milestones, the 2026 Maine Lobster Festival gave us plenty of moments worth celebrating. Take a look back at some of the highlights!

The Maine Lobster Festival may take place over five days, but our work continues all year long. At its heart, the Festival is a year-round fundraiser supporting Midcoast Maine through donations, scholarships, awards, local partnerships and opportunities for small businesses. Over the past 10 years, we have given back more than $230,000 and supported more than 110 organizations and individuals. Every lobster enjoyed and every hour volunteered helps make that possible.

This year, we set a goal to raise $20,000 to give back to the community, with $15,000 going toward benefactions to local organizations and $5,000 to scholarships and awards recognizing students and community members. Thanks to everyone who attended this year's Festival, we exceeded that goal with a total of $25,000! We love our community, and we are honored to be able to give back.

A huge thank you to the incredible 1000+ volunteers who helped make the 2026 Maine Lobster Festival possible! From setting up and serving food to welcoming guests, supporting events and tackling countless behind-the-scenes tasks, our volunteers are truly the heart of the Festival. We are so grateful for the time, energy and enthusiasm you gave to make this year’s celebration such a success.
