Wade here! What an honor to be recognized by TravelPulse and Northstar Travel Group, the pinnacle of travel industry media. Only 20 travel advisors and 20 suppliers were picked for the TravelPulse 40 Under 40 Class of 2026, and I'm proud to be one of them.

I want to thank my wife, Joslynne Light, for the nomination. My growth in the travel industry is 100 percent credited to her efforts. She works harder than anyone I know, she's the reason Light Travels is what it is today, and I can't thank her enough.

Thank you to Chrissy Ducharme for taking the time to share such kind words in my bio. It means a lot. And thank you to Cathy Beckwith, a client and a friend, for her comments to TravelPulse.

Next week I'm heading to Florida for the Travvy Awards gala, and I'm looking forward to celebrating with the rest of this year's class.

Thank you to all my clients, family and friends, and to everyone associated with Light Travels: our suppliers, our travel advisors, Maine ASTA Louise Chappell, GTM, the Travel A.L.L.I.E.S. Society, and Travel Planners International, especially Lee and Calvin Rodriguez.

Eventually, you just start paying for airport parking instead of asking people for rides. No coordinating schedules, no asking for favors, no inconveniencing anyone. Just park, grab your bags, and go. Sometimes convenience is worth every penny.

Business meetings are better in Ogunquit, Maine. Lunch with our Iberostar BDM followed by a walk along Marginal Way. Not a bad place to call the office for the day.

Is this actually a smart use of space… or would this bathroom setup be a dealbreaker for you?

Nothing tests a friendship or family relationship quite like spending 7 straight days together on vacation.
