I am finally back in my office after being at my travel conference all last week and I have so much to share.
I learned so much and made so many great connections with vendors both old and new.
Going to these conferences costs a lot of money, the conference fee, air, hotel and food, but I attend because it's an investment in my business and an investment in your vacation. I am not paid to go on these trips like some people think.
We were in the conference ballroom by 7:30AM every monring and we never went to bed before 11PM. It's all exhausting and at times a bit overwhelming. We are giving an insane amount of knowledge, I have so many notes, and I am so thankful for the oppotunity to learn more about the travel industry.
I was very surprised and grateful to be hosted by Disney one night and Carnival on another. Great dinners were had both nights. Receiving invitations for these 2 events was so special to me and I do not take things like this for granted. It's a reminder that I am fortunate but I also work hard and it's so great to be recognized by vendors.
But don't worry, I did manage to work in some fun! :)
The confernece ended Friday, late afternoon so I got to visit Epic Universe on Saturday. It was aweomse and I cannot wait to share more about my day there.
