🇨🇦 Halifax, Nova Scotia

Halifax was one of those destinations that gave me a glimpse into Canada's rich history and culture.

While exploring the city, I visited the Halifax Citadel National Historic Site, admired the beautiful architecture of St. Mary's Basilica, and enjoyed a peaceful walk through the Halifax Public Gardens.

One of the things I enjoy most about traveling is learning about the history, culture, and stories that make each destination unique.

🗽 Sailing Past the New York Skyline
One of the most unforgettable travel moments I've experienced was sailing away from Brooklyn with the New York City skyline in front of me and the Statue of Liberty standing proudly in the distance.
There was something truly special about watching one of the world's most iconic skylines slowly fade into the horizon as a new adventure began.
Moments like these remind me why I love to travel not just for the destinations, but for the memories created along the way.

🌸 A Spring Surprise in New Jersey

Before heading to Europe, I made a stop at one of the most beautiful cherry blossom displays in the United States.

Branch Brook Park surprised me with thousands of blooming cherry trees, peaceful walking paths, and colors that felt straight out of a postcard.

As a travel advisor, I love discovering destinations around the world, but this was a reminder that sometimes the most memorable experiences can be found closer to home.

Today, my heart stands with the beautiful country of Mexico especially Puerto Vallarta. 🇲🇽

In February 2025, my family and I experienced one of our most meaningful days there. We met a humble, kind soul who guided us through authentic local places, filling our day with laughter, flavor, and unforgettable memories.
Last year alone, I visited Mexico 4–5 times. To now witness what is happening deeply grieves my heart.

Today, I spoke with Jorge, our tour guide. He shared that food is becoming scarce. Small shops are opening, but they cannot keep up with demand. Larger stores are being looted and vandalized. Families are afraid. Communities are overwhelmed.

This is not just news. These are real people. Real families. Real livelihoods.
This is another heavy blow to the travel industry, and many foreigners are facing incredibly difficult conditions, desperate to leave but unable to.

Travel connects us. Humanity binds us. Compassion strengthens us.

REYNOSA, Mexico - A shelter in place warning has been issued for U.S. Citizens currently in some areas in Mexico after the death of a notorious cartel leader.

🚨 Travel Advisory Update 🚨
If you’re flying soon, here’s what you need to know.
Due to the ongoing partial federal government shutdown, the Department of Homeland Security has temporarily paused TSA PreCheck and Global Entry benefits nationwide. While airport security remains operational, expedited screening services are currently unavailable until federal funding is restored.
✈️ What this means for travelers: • Longer security lines at most U.S. airports
• Standard screening for all passengers, including PreCheck members
• Possible delays during peak travel times
TSA officers and essential personnel are still working to keep travel moving safely, but without the usual expedited lanes, processing times may increase.
✔️ My recommendation:
Arrive at the airport earlier than usual (at least 2–3 hours before domestic flights).
Monitor your airline for updates.
Pack smart to avoid additional screening delays.
