🚨🚢 PRINCESS CRUISES JUST CHANGED ITS FINAL PAYMENT DEADLINE!
If you’re booking a Princess cruise, here’s an important change you need to know.
Beginning with new bookings made on or after September 2, 2026, Princess has moved final payment to:
⏰ 120 DAYS BEFORE SAILING
For many shorter cruises, that used to be 90 days, so your vacation may now need to be paid in full about a month earlier.
📅 QUICK DEADLINE SUMMARY
For new Princess bookings made September 2, 2026 or later:
💰 Final Payment: 120 days before sailing
⚠️ Cancellation penalties increase as your sailing approaches
❌ 60 days or less: 100% cancellation penalty for cruises up to 44 days
Princess has also increased standard deposits on many new reservations.
⚠️ Already booked? Don’t panic!
These changes do not automatically change existing reservations. Your payment and cancellation terms depend on when you booked, so always check the dates listed on your individual reservation.
