Entertainment is putting a thrilling new spin on an Oscar-winning classic with Sunset Boulevard: A Hollywood Ballopera, coming to the historic Old Town Theatre September 4–6!

Inspired directly by Billy Wilder’s legendary 1950 film, this completely original production combines opera, ballet, ballroom dance, dialogue, classic film scores, and modern cinematic technology to transport audiences into the glamorous—and haunting—world of Old Hollywood. 🌟

Follow faded silent film star Norma Desmond as her dreams of a return to the silver screen draw an unsuspecting writer into her world of fantasy, obsession, and faded stardom.

And no—this isn’t the Andrew Lloyd Webber musical! Cinballera founders Tiffany and Rebekah Brannan have reimagined the original film as a one-of-a-kind ballopera, performed by a multitalented cast of five.
