Like so many of you, we've been watching with disbelief and heartbreak as catastrophic flooding hits Nepal. A glacial collapse and flash flood swept through the Rasuwa and Nuwakot districts on August 26th, destroying entire villages along the Trishuli River. The death toll continues to climb, with hundreds still missing.

Nepal is home to many of the mountains and communities we love most, and this hits close to home for Mountain Madness. Like so many of you, we've been trying to figure out how best to help.

Our custom Pakistan trek is in full swing!

The team has made it to Concordia, in the heart of the Karakoram, with the mighty K2 (8,611m) and Broad Peak (8,051m) towering in the distance. It’s hard to imagine a better place for a rest day.

Tomorrow morning, they’re back on the move and headed toward Gasherbrum Base Camp as their journey deeper into one of the most spectacular mountain landscapes on Earth continues.

A beautiful summit of Glacier Peak yesterday. One of Washington’s most remote volcanoes, Glacier Peak rises to 10,541 ft and is the only major Cascade volcano hidden deep in the wilderness.

Update from Bolivia 🇧🇴

Our private Illampu team had an awesome climb but made the tough decision to turn around just short of the summit due to unstable snow conditions on the summit ridge. A tough decision... but ultimately the right one.

Everyone is back at camp and will begin making their way to La Paz, and eventually home, over the coming days. 🏔️
