Guide training got kicked off this week with a bang! Great day out at Mount Erie shaking off the rust, dialing systems, and picking up new tips and tricks to give our guests the best experience in the mountains.

Now the crew is off to Mount Baker for round 2 of the training!

Our new Ama Dablam Prep on Mount Shuksan is designed to bridge the gap between solid mountaineering skills and the real movement demands of one of the Himalaya’s most iconic peaks. Over five days on Shuksan’s Fisher Chimneys route, climbers will practice fixed lines, rappels, transitions, glacier travel, and moving efficiently through exposed alpine terrain.
