Some of Sedona's greatest treasures aren't the red rocks. 🏜️

While exploring, we came across what appeared to be pottery fragments and an old corn cob—a reminder of the generations of people who lived, farmed, and built communities in this landscape long before us.

The objects were already arranged when we arrived, and we left them exactly as we found them.

One of the most important Leave No Trace principles is **Leave What You Find**.

That means:
- Don't pick up or move pottery, artifacts, or other cultural objects.
- Never remove anything from an archaeological site.
- Respect ancient structures, rock art, and culturally significant places.
- Keep sensitive archaeological locations private.

Even moving a small object can erase clues about the people who came before us.

The next time you discover something remarkable, take a photograph, appreciate the history, and leave it for others to experience.
