Looking for an easy summer day trip from Summerville this Memorial Day Weekend? 💦

Head to Ridgeville for a float down the Edisto River with Edisto River Adventures. Their riverfront outpost offers tubing on the Edisto, plus a sandbar hangout at the end with volleyball, co****le, picnic tables, shade, and food trucks on weekends and holidays.

It’s relaxed, scenic, and close enough to make a whole summer day of it. ☀️

Tucked throughout downtown Summerville, you’ll find a flock of larger-than-life birds waiting to be discovered. 🐦

The B.I.R.D.S. Sculpture Trail turns a stroll through the Historic District into a fun, self-guided art adventure with whimsical limerick clues leading the way. Along the trail, you’ll spot beautifully crafted sculptures created by talented artists from across the country — all celebrating native birds and the creativity woven throughout Summerville.

The trail was made possible through a collaboration between Audubon South Carolina, Sculpture in the South, and Summerville D.R.E.A.M., along with generous community support.
