I just found an app that will literally tell you what to wear in another country. 😇

You can even upload your own picture!

It’s called Glance…and of course I immediately tested it for one of my upcoming trips.

I’m traveling to Germany next year for Oktoberfest. 🍻🇩🇪

My ask?

Germany. Oktoberfest. Dress me.

The solution? "Beer Hall Chic.”

This is actually one of those little things people forget about international travel.

What you pack depends on the weather, the culture, where you’re going AND what you’re actually doing while you’re there.

So apparently now my travel research includes hotels, restaurants, tours…and outfit planning.

After all, I am Your Travel Concierge.

If something isn’t right with your vacation… I want to know BEFORE you spend the whole week being polite about it. 😏

That’s why you’ll often receive a text or phone call from me the day you arrive.

Why?

Because I want to know…

Is your cabin what you expected?
Is your hotel room clean and in the right location?
Does the resort actually look like the pictures?

And most importantly… are you happy?

Because once you’ve invested in a vacation, you should NOT spend the first two days quietly convincing yourself that something is “fine” when it isn’t.

And if you’re the type who doesn’t like to complain or ruffle any feathers…

That’s where I come in. 😏

Okay… HOW did I not know this?! 😳

I’m a Platinum Elite member with IHG and apparently even I have been sleeping on some of the complimentary perks at Crowne Plaza. 😂

Depending on the hotel, your stay may include things like:
✨ An energizing morning ritual — special juice, wellness shot or even a guided run
🫖 A relaxing evening ritual — calming tea, gratitude journal or guided walk
🥂 The Crowne Plaza Social - this one has my attention. 😏

Just another reminder: your hotel may have perks you’re not taking advantage of simply because nobody told you about them.

Okay, Crowne Plaza drink voucher hack I somehow just learned. 😂

You know those 2 drink vouchers you sometimes get when you check in?

Please tell me I’m not the only one who automatically thinks:
🍺 Beer 🍷 Wine 🍹 Cocktail 🍸 Bar drink

Well… apparently, not necessarily.

I just found out that at some Crowne Plaza properties, those vouchers can also be used in the little hotel market/convenience store. 👀

Think Starbucks Frappuccino to go, bottled drinks, or even your favorite candy/snack instead.

And honestly? Sometimes after a long travel day, I would MUCH rather grab a cold coffee and something sweet than sit at the bar. 😂

Obviously, every hotel can handle their vouchers differently, so check what yours includes.

But from now on, I’m asking before I automatically head to the bar.

Travel lesson learned. ✈️💚

It gets really sad and feels neglected? 🤣

I fully believe having another trip on the calendar makes returning home from the last one less painful.
