Next time you’re settling into your seat, sipping your drink, and you hear ding… ding ding… ding ding ding... Those chimes actually mean something. 🎧

Here’s the insider breakdown (straight from pilots and crew 👇):
✨ One chime = a simple heads-up
Think: “Hey crew, pay attention.” Usually signals routine communication or coordination.
✨✨ Two chimes = boarding or departure mode
Cabin crew, it’s go-time. Doors, cross-checks, and getting ready for takeoff.
✨✨✨ Three chimes = priority alert
This one gets attention FAST. It could signal turbulence, a situation in the cabin, or something the crew needs to address immediately.

Because what’s totally normal in the U.S. can be a hard ❌ somewhere else.

Here’s what my clients are always surprised to learn:
💊 Pseudoephedrine (Sudafed)
Banned in places like Japan & Mexico. Yes… your basic sinus relief could be an issue.
💊 Codeine (common in cough syrups)
Restricted or banned in the UAE, Japan, Greece, and Indonesia. Even with a valid prescription, you may need pre-approval or documentation.
💊 Diphenhydramine (Benadryl)
Restricted in countries like Japan and Zambia. In some cases? Confiscated.
💊 ADHD Medications (Adderall, Ritalin)
Highly controlled in destinations like the UAE, Japan, Singapore, and South Korea. Think: advance permits, paperwork, approvals—before you even board your flight.

✨ Customs doesn’t care that your doctor prescribed it. They care about their laws.
