Big Island Bike Tours

Big Island Bike Tours A locally owned touring company showcasing the culture, terrain, and beauty of Hawaii through the ad It doesn’t matter if it’s an old steel lugged mt.

bike from the 80’s, or a high-end carbon fiber road bike worth more than most people’s cars, we love to ride bikes. When you ride Hawaii with Big Island Bike Tours you can be sure that you won’t spend time looking for the right roads to ride or secret trails, because riding bikes is what we do for a living. It’s not something we quit our corporate job for, it’s our lifeblood, and we know what it’s like to race the wet cobbles of a Belgium classic or cruise hidden single track in Zambia, Africa. In other words, we have a lifetime of riding and this is the most important aspect when choosing a bike touring company because we know what it means to go on an epic ride while exploring an ancient culture in paradise, which may very well make you want to quit your day job.

Our hearts are broken for the people of Maui and those who are suffering in the aftermath of the wildfires. The extent of the destruction and loss is unprecedented, and the need for immediate and ongoing support is significant.

The most valuable way to help right now is with a monetary donation. With limited access to communities for distribution and challenges with storage space, Maui County officials and organizations are asking those who can help to consider donating money or gift cards — which allows them to allocate resources over the next several weeks as supplies run out.

The Argonaut RM3 in its natural state of blurring the lines of serious road bike AND legit gravel machine. With the ability to run a 35mm tire, the RM3 retains the acceleration in and out of the saddle, while also extending the road handling and ride characteristics reserved for pure road machines. I honestly can’t remember a road bike that I loved enough to make my gravel partner at the same time and without compromise. Come ride one in Paradise! Aloha Friday!
