Out of an abundance of caution, we made the difficult decision to cancel all Road to Hāna tours scheduled for Friday, October 30, 2026.
This decision goes beyond the safety of our guests. We also want to be mindful of ongoing cleanup efforts, ensuring crews have the space they need to work safely and efficiently, and that Hāna residents can receive essential supplies and access necessary services without additional traffic or congestion along the roadway.
Our community has always been our greatest source of support, and it is our responsibility to show that same support in return.
We are deeply honored to share the beauty of Hāna, its rich culture, and the spirit of aloha with visitors from around the world. With that privilege comes a responsibility to live pono … to do what is right, to act with integrity, and to consider the well-being of everyone and everything around us.
We understand that experiencing the Road to Hāna is a special part of many visitors’ Maui journey, and we sincerely apologize for any disappointment or inconvenience this may cause.
Hāna is more than a destination. It is home. Home to families, generations of residents, and a community we deeply respect and care for. During times like these, protecting that community and allowing recovery efforts to take priority is what matters most.
