We had so much fun at this past Saturday’s Pine Pull! 🌲🤎

It was such a meaningful opportunity to connect with our community, give back to our ʻāina, and spend the day alongside some of the best keiki and paddlers Maui has to offer.

Mahalo to Na Kai Ewalu Canoe Club for allowing us to partner with your team on such an amazing initiative focused on stewardship, culture, and caring for our island home. We’re grateful to have been a part of it!

At Valley Isle Excursions, we believe in supporting sustainability, giving back to our community, and caring for the places that make Maui so special. That’s why we’ve partnered with Nã Kai ‘Ewalu Canoe Club to give back to one of the places we cherish most - Haleakala National Park.

Join us for the Haleakala National Park Pine Pull from 9:00 AM - 11:30 AM, open to both club and non-club members.

Volunteers will help remove invasive pine trees that displace endemic and endangered species, alter soil chemistry, and increase wildfire risk in ecosystems not adapted to fire.

Transportation is provided!

Pick Up: 7:45 AM
@ Na Kai Ewalu Parking Lot -Hoaloha Park

We will depart Haleakala National Park at 12:45 PM.

Please bring:
• Covered shoes
• Rain gear
• Hat + sunscreen
• Lunch + water
• Any necessary allergy medication

This is more than just a volunteer day -it’s an opportunity for community connection and hands-on stewardship to help protect Maul’s culture and natural resources for future generations.
