❄️ Winter Gear Donation Drive 🧣🧤

This October, 100K and Reverb are partnering with Serve Your City/Ward 6 Mutual Aid (SYC/W6MA) to support our unhoused neighbors across DC.

We are collecting essential winter warming items throughout the month of October:

⭐️ Warm socks
⭐️ Hats & beanies
⭐️ Scarves & gloves
⭐️ Outerwear & blankets

📍 Drop-off Location: Donation bins are located in the lobby at 100K and Reverb.

🗓️ Dates: October 1 – October 31.

“Eleanor is happy to have won. The toys she really likes right now are little plastic springs that she bats around the apartment. She’s a big talker and loves to yell at me when I come home no matter how long I’m out.  Pictured is her on what has become her chair.”

Congrats to Pepper for being our September Pet of the Month!

Hi!  I’m Pepper, a Scottish Terrier who just moved to 100K from Virginia. I was a professional backyard obstacle course jumper, which was a lot of fun because my human bribed me with cheese. I also helped my human teach computer science at Virginia Tech! Being an athlete and assistant professor was a long but rewarding career.  In my retirement, I like to cruise around DC in my dog stroller. 

If you see me, feel free to say hi and tell me how cute I am! You can also catch me at the next Scottish Christmas Walk in Old Town Alexandria where I’ll be supporting my fellow Scotties!

Congrats to Eugene for being our August Pet of the Month! 💛✨

Meet Eugene, better known as Gene—our 10-year-old baby (don’t let his age fool you, he’ll always be our baby!). Gene is a gentle giant who loves cuddles, giving hugs, and spending time with his favorite people aka his moms. While other cats make him a little nervous, he absolutely adores humans. When he’s not snuggled up with us, you’ll find him outside enjoying the fresh air or by the window watching the trains roll by.
