Tucked away in Nairobi’s leafy Langata suburb and bordering the tranquil Giraffe Sanctuary Forest, Hemingways Eden Residence is a place where art, nature and hospitality come together in perfect harmony.
Originally built in 1992 by artist and filmmaker Tonio Trzebinski and fashion designer Anna Trzebinski as their family home, the property has since evolved into an intimate boutique hotel and private gallery, while still retaining its creative spirit and sense of home.
Dining at Hemingways Eden Residence is a celebration of Kenya’s rich culinary heritage. Using locally sourced ingredients and seasonal produce, the menu offers thoughtfully crafted dishes such as Coconut Octopus, Beef Ragu Tagliatelle and Charred Lamb Chops, followed by indulgent desserts including Tropical Pavlova and a decadent Chocolate Tart for Two. As evening falls, guests dine by candlelight, surrounded by nature, artwork and an atmosphere that feels both elegant and deeply personal.
Beyond the dining experience, guests can unwind at the forest-facing wellness spa, enjoy private dining experiences, explore nearby Nairobi National Park, or browse the concept store and artisan studios showcasing local fashion, craftsmanship and design.
Recently visited by our team, Hemingways Eden Residence is one of those rare places that offers more than accommodation — it offers a genuine connection to Nairobi's creative and cultural heart.
