Destination spotlight: Tarangire National Park 🐘

While most recognise that Tanzania's northern circuit is typically more frequented than its southern sister, one of the more overlooked northern parks is Tarangire.

The park is best known for its fantastic, thriving elephant population and its tree-climbing lions - yes, you read that correctly! 🦁 It's also home to most of the standard savannah species as well as a few unusual ones.

Best time to visit? June - October, the dry season 🐾 As water sources become scarcer, the Tarangire River attracts vast wildlife. And, as a less frequented park, it's typically not as crowded as other regions. ✨

The magic of a gorilla trekking experience was captured beautifully by one of our recent travellers, Lisa. 🦍 They ventured out to track the Amahoro gorilla group during their time in Rwanda's Volcanoes National Park and were fortunate enough to have some truly incredible moments observing them. 🤩

Recently, we had a wonderful time connecting with travellers in Florida at our "Out of Africa" events! We spent time sharing the latest safari trends and exclusive experiences and were blown away by the enthusiasm and love for Africa. 🌍
