This is the magic of Kanga Expeditions, where wildlife carries on as nature intended, and you’re fortunate enough to witness it.

As a mother elephant paused to hydrate at the pool, her three-month-old calf seized the opportunity for a drink of its own.

Have you ever seen anything this cute?

“Such an incredible sighting on our afternoon drive and what a brilliant end to the day!

Just a few kilometers from camp, we came across a pair of aardwolves mating. They’re such a rare species so this was a real treat to catch them together. You could see the excitement on the guests’ faces!

We’re hoping they’re doing well, and fingers crossed we’ll see some pups from them towards the end of the year. We’ll keep you updated.” - Guide Witness

Conserving what matters most begins with the people who know it best.

Near our Experience Atzaró Okavango Camp, across the NG32 area and around Ditshiping Village, the Honey Guide Patrol Team is on the ground every day: monitoring for poaching, responding to human-wildlife conflict, and reporting illegal activity across this remarkable landscape.

Through our partnership with Atzaró Okavango Camp, African Bush Camps Foundation funds a dedicated patrol vehicle and ongoing monthly support, so the team can do this work safely and consistently.

This isn’t just about equipment. It’s about placing custodianship of this land in the hands of the people who call it home.

Lasting conservation begins with local ownership.

We are proud to share that our TALA Gin has been featured in Forbes.

Twenty years in the bush has taught us that the sundowner is never just a drink. It’s the moment the bush exhales, the light turns gold, and everyone sits together to salute the day.

TALA was born from that moment. Crafted from wild sage, wild basil, and jackalberry, each hand-foraged near our Experiences in the Okavango Delta. Every sip captures the feeling of safari.

“One of the reasons safari works so beautifully for young families is its natural rhythm.

Early morning milk while watching the sunrise. Breakfast around the fire. Falling asleep on the morning drive before waking up back at camp. Peaceful afternoon naps followed by another gentle adventure later in the day.

Children thrive on routine, and safari almost creates one for you. We found ourselves settling into that rhythm just as much as Bradley did.” - Jemma Wild » An African Travel Diary
