Most people picture Namibia as sand dunes and desert coastline. They’re not wrong, but they’re missing something. In the far north-eastern reaches of the country, where Namibia, Botswana and Zambia collide, Nkasa Rupara National Park offers a vision of Namibia as you’ve never imagined.

And right at the heart of it, on its own private island, is Nkasa Linyanti — a brand new camp that only opened last month and is already one of the most exciting additions to our itineraries. Six tents, entirely solar-powered, entirely unfenced and surrounded by the largest concentration of buffalo in Namibia.

The prizes? This year we have knocked it out the park. Horse riding through the Okavango Delta. Gorilla trekking in Rwanda. A safari from a train suspended on a bridge in the Kruger. A private island villa in Madagascar. A heritage Manor House in the Winelands. The list goes on.

Every bid and every ticket goes directly to the two foundations. Click the link in our bio 📲

To those who are coming to our party, see you on the 16th! ⭐️

Ishara. In Swahili, it means “sign.” And in the Masai Mara, the signs are everywhere.

This is what this camp was built around — an authentically Kenyan experience in one of the greatest wildlife theatres on earth.

The Masai Mara is the Kenyan section of the greater Serengeti ecosystem — one of the oldest and most intact ecosystems on the planet 🦬

Imagine waking up to the sound of wildlife in Lake Kariba and walking out onto your private deck as the mist lifts over the Matusadona National Park - Fothergill Island is the place.

A lodge brought back to life through conservation, and now one of the most compelling reasons to explore Zimbabwe properly.

The Matusadona National Park was established largely to protect the wildlife rescued during Operation Noah in 1958 — one of the largest animal rescue operations in history, saving thousands of animals stranded by the rising waters of Lake Kariba.

The New Year’s Test at Newlands sold out faster than any Test match in South African history, but we’ve taken care of everything 💥

Six nights at the Mount Nelson, a premium box at Newlands for all five days, daily transfers, a Peninsula tour, a breakfast event with guest speakers including and someone taking care of all the details.

This is the Steadfast way of doing a cricket Test.

With Table Mountain as its backdrop, Newlands Cricket Ground is widely regarded as one of the most beautiful cricket venues on earth!

Winter safari in the Karoo is something entirely its own. All-day game drives. Cheetah tracking on foot. The rare, almost mythical aardvark (usually nocturnal) caught out in the cool of the day. And come nightfall: a fire, a blanket, and a sky free of light pollution.

This camp is fully inclusive and this April, that includes the translocation of additional black rhino to the reserve.

Fun fact: The name “Karoo” comes from the Khoikhoi word meaning “land of great thirst” — yet this vast semi-desert supports an extraordinary diversity of life, from cheetah and rhino to over 100 reptile species.

Not all of us hibernate in winter 🐎

This private estate is where the horses are clocking in, the mountains are providing an exquisite backdrop, and the Kolkol wood-fired hot tub is very much open for business.

Worth knowing: the estate sits in the shadow of the Hottentots Holland Mountains, one of the most biodiverse mountain ranges on the planet. We know where we'd rather be right now. Franschhoek has been South Africa's culinary and wine capital for over 300 years. This estate is its newest reason to visit.
