A private tidal island on the shores of Praia de Barra, Inhambane. Two villas, two infinity pools merging with the Indian Ocean, a private beach, a private chef and humpback whales migrating past the doorstep right now as we speak.

One villa sleeps eight across four en-suite bedrooms with a 10m infinity pool. The other offers two en-suite bedrooms with its own private 6m pool. Book one, or take the whole estate for up to 12 guests.

Humpback whales migrate along the Inhambane coast every year between July and September — meaning right now, guests at Sal e Luz are watching whale breaches from their infinity pool. Mozambique in winter is not what most people expect. That’s exactly the point.
