Annual maintenance is now underway.

From today until 9 August 2026, the Table Mountain Aerial Cableway is closed for our annual maintenance programme.

Over the next two weeks, our technical teams will be carrying out essential inspections, testing and upgrades to ensure we continue delivering a safe, reliable and world-class experience for every visitor.

We'll be ready to welcome you back from 10 August 2026 (weather permitting).

Thank you for your patience and understanding. We look forward to seeing you back on the mountain soon!

Important new announcement & requirement for travellers entering or leaving South Africa! 🇿🇦

Travellers are now required to submit a customs online traveller declaration before they travel. The South African Revenue Service (SARS) has confirmed that the new mandatory travel rules comes into effect from 1 July 2026.

According to SARS, everyone (including SA citizens , residents & foreign travellers) who is entering or leaving South Africa must submit a traveller declaration.

The online declaration must be submitted no more than 24 hours before departing from the country you are travelling from/to

Tsitsikamma Suspension Bridge Remains Open and Accessible to Visitors During Refurbishment

The Storms River Mouth Trail in the Tsitsikamma Section of Garden Route National Park remains open and accessible to visitors while refurbishment and maintenance work is underway.

Construction is being done in phases to ensure visitor access. Bridges 2 and 3 are currently closed and will reopen on 23 March 2026. The main 77-metre suspension bridge will then close for reconstruction from 24 March to 23 June 2026.

Visitors can still enjoy the scenic trail during this period. Please follow all posted safety signage while visiting.
