One elephant at a waterhole is a great sighting. An entire herd is something else. 🐘

Watching families arrive one by one, greeting each other, drinking, bathing, and keeping a close eye on the youngest members of the herd is one of the best parts of being on safari.

Chobe National Park itself houses some of Africa's most formidable big cats, despite the greater Chobe region being more commonly associated with cheetahs. What makes these predators truly remarkable is how uniquely they have adapted to their environment, as seen in these sightings captured by our guests.

Lions of Chobe:

- Savuti’s lions are among Africa’s largest, with males reaching up to 250 kg.
- Known for rare hunting behaviour, they take down buffalo, giraffe, and even young elephants.
- Fierce competition with hyena clans creates some of the most dramatic predator dynamics in Chobe.

Leopards of Chobe:

-Leopards in Chobe are elusive masters of stealth, often active during the cooler hours.
-To protect their meals from lions and hyenas, they frequently hoist kills high into the trees.
-Their adaptability allows them to thrive across riverine forests, open woodland, and the rugged Savuti landscape.

Victoria Falls changes dramatically throughout the year, and June is one of the most rewarding times to experience it. As water levels begin to drop after the rainy season, the heavy mist clears, revealing wider panoramic views of the gorge and the Falls themselves.

Combined with cooler temperatures and golden winter light, it is a favourite time for photographers, helicopter flights, sunset cruises, and rainforest walks.

Whether you prefer the dramatic power of high-water season or the clearer viewpoints of winter, Victoria Falls always leaves an impression.

Which would you choose?

Some places ask you to slow down the moment you arrive.
bumbusi is one of them. Tucked into a quiet corner of Hwange National Park, seven stone and thatch chalets sit within the landscape rather than on top of it, each one opening onto lawns and bush that stretch as far as you can see.

What makes Bumbusi truly special is the option to hire out the entire camp exclusively. Your group, your pace, your safari. Add guided walks through ancient ruins, game drives into one of Zimbabwe's greatest parks, and the kind of stillness that's genuinely hard to find anywhere else.
This is bush travel done properly.

The Zambezi is never just one thing.

One moment, elephants gather quietly along the banks. The next, a pod of hippos surfaces beside the boat while fish eagles call overhead.

From crocodiles resting on the shoreline to buffalo crossing the river and birds moving through the reeds, every stretch of the water tells a different story.

This is one of the best ways to experience African wildlife. Slow, close, and completely unpredictable.

The Blue Point Post Box walk takes you through rugged volcanic landscapes carved over time by erosion and the natural forces that continue to shape St. Helena’s coastline. Along the way, the dramatic cliffs and open ocean views make it easy to understand just how remote the island really is.

At the end of the trail sits the well-known Blue Point Post Box, surrounded by some of the most striking coastal scenery on the island.

One of the highlights of Will’s time in St. Helena was visiting Farm Lodge Country Hotel and spending time with Maureen, the owner behind this charming island stay.

While walking through the gardens, Maureen shared stories about life on the island, pointing out the coffee and bananas grown right there on the property. A big thank you to Maureen for her warm hospitality and for sharing such a genuine look into life at Farm Lodge.
