Progress, in motion.
Final assembly of our production trial vehicle is underway, and it’s all starting to come together.
What began as months of design, engineering, and refinement is now taking shape in the real world, from the underlying structure through to the systems that will define how it performs in the field.
We’re close.
This is a small sneak peek behind the scenes inside the R&D division at the factory in Gqeberha, where the vehicle is being brought to life piece by piece, ahead of it being revealed in its final form.

Our recent trip to KZN reminded us why we started this journey.

Spending time in the heart of Zululand, showcasing our electric safari vehicle in the Hluhluwe area and hearing the reaction firsthand was powerful. The validation, the excitement and the immediate understanding of how game changing this will be for game drives made it clear that what we are building truly matters.

A sincere thank you to the lodges who hosted us and experienced Thula firsthand. Your support, insights and enthusiasm mean a great deal.

Orders are beginning to roll in and the anticipation for the final product is tangible. The future of silent, immersive game drives is closer than ever.

Our Thula journey has gone International!

We’re excited to share that our prototype electric safari vehicle has begun extended trials at the iconic Chobe Game Lodge. As one of the first lodges in Africa to electrify their fleet of game drive vehicles and boats, Chobe is the perfect partner to help us test and refine our vehicle in real conditions.

Over the next six weeks, the prototype will remain in the Chobe, monitored continuously from our head office in Sandton, while gathering vital insights from daily operations in the bush.

But this is just the beginning. In the coming months, we’ll be showcasing across Botswana — and we’d love to hear from other lodges who want to be part of shaping the future of sustainable game drives and interested in experiencing the silent safari.

This past weekend, we had the privilege of taking part in the Run For Rangers at the stunning Babanango Game Reserve— an inspiring event honouring the brave men and women on the frontlines of conservation.

And today, on World Ranger Day, we celebrate those who dedicate their lives to protecting wildlife and wild places. Their work is not just courageous — it’s essential.

Funds raised from the event go directly to Project Rhino, helping to equip rangers, support anti-poaching units, drive education initiatives, and carry out difficult but necessary interventions like rhino dehornings — all in the fight to protect one of Africa’s most iconic species.
