It was a privilege for Thula to be part of the journey, leading runners through this remarkable landscape and witnessing the shared commitment to conservation, community and the future of our wild places.

Today, on World Ranger Day, we honour the 147 rangers from 40 countries who lost their lives protecting our planet over the past year.

Their courage, commitment, resilience, dedication and sacrifice remind us that conserving the world's wild places comes at a great personal cost.

We remember those whose names are recorded, those whose stories may never be told, and we stand with every ranger who continues the watch.

Every journey has a beginning.

Ours started with a retrofit, a practical first step that helped us learn, test, and push the idea forward.

But the more we listened, tested, and refined, the clearer it became: the safari industry needed something purpose-built.

That is the path we’re on today. A ground-up Electric Safari Vehicle, shaped by experience and designed for the wild.

Progress, in motion.
Final assembly of our production trial vehicle is underway, and it’s all starting to come together.
What began as months of design, engineering, and refinement is now taking shape in the real world, from the underlying structure through to the systems that will define how it performs in the field.
We’re close.
This is a small sneak peek behind the scenes inside the R&D division at the factory in Gqeberha, where the vehicle is being brought to life piece by piece, ahead of it being revealed in its final form.
