The future of long-haul Economy travel has officially arrived with Air New Zealand now opening bookings for its world-first Economy Skynest™ experience.

Available exclusively on selected ultra long-haul flights between Auckland and New York aboard the airline’s new 787-9 (v5) aircraft, Economy Skynest gives Economy and Premium Economy passengers access to a dedicated six-nest sleep zone designed for proper mid-flight rest.

Each customer receives their own fully lie-flat sleep space for a four-hour session, complete with bedding and amenities to help make the journey more comfortable and refreshing.

Bookings are available now, with flights departing from 24 December on the Auckland to New York route.
