Leading by example in every sense, Graham Turner continues to set the tone for what health, resilience and community look like across Flight Centre Travel Group.
From the first step on the start line through to the final stretch of the course and into the finish, the London Marathon delivered everything it is known for.
Nineteen Flighties took part this year and every single one crossed the finish line, an outstanding achievement and a real reflection of the determination and spirit across our teams.
It was a day of incredible atmosphere and support across the course, with our people showing real grit, backing each other all the way and representing Flight Centre Travel Group with pride from start to finish.
A standout moment was Skroo completing his ninth London Marathon. His first was back in 1982 at the second ever London Marathon. That original medal, thought lost for many years, has recently been found again, adding a special connection between then and now.
Skrooโs approach to health and wellbeing continues to set the tone. At 76, he remains highly active and this weekend was another reminder that looking after your health underpins everything else.
Together with Tod Horton, who also ran the marathon, he co-founded Healthwise over 25 years ago, growing it into a global initiative that continues to support the health, wealth and productivity of our people and their families.
