Beautiful new paved area for Weddings and Shakespeare at Cloudehill Garden & Nursery

Here we have Wes McIntosh’s team busily paving the stage of Cloudehill’s theatre.

Originally the plan was to leave this as grass, however, what with all our weddings, and Shakespeare in January, and lots of garden visitors walking through, our grass was turning into mud.

Fortunately, we had a few more bricks. And once you tackle a job like this, often interesting things happen. Paving the stage makes it appear much bigger. It draws the eye and, I am sure, the paving will make exploring the theatre a little bit more irresistible. And, with any luck, more people exploring the paths running out each side of the stage will mean more visitors spotting the amazing Dove Tree tucked behind the hedge which will be flowering with plenty of its astonishing dove-like bracts in a few weeks time.
