I’m a fanatic and have played for about 20 years including at a national level in Australia and also represented the Cook Islands.

***What's your Budget?*** OMG OMG OMG

Let's dissect this 'taboo' question for a bit.

I ask ALL my clients this question and many are caught a little off-guard. Please for us overthinkers out there (I'm one), I am not asking you how rich or poor you are. I am simply asking you what you dont want to spend. That's the easiest way to look at it.

Now a few reasons why this is important:
1) Putting together a travel proposal takes a lot of work. I know I make it look easy but it is very time consuming. Me knowing how much you want to spend or are willing to, will ensure that I dont present you something that will never be ok with you.
2) I can tell you upfront whether I think your budget is doable or if you need to consider tweaking it. I will always try my best to get you something great within budget - even if what you want to spend is on the lower scale, provided of course it is reasonable.
3) I will always look at your best possible option even if it just a little over your budget - I mean for an extra $200 I would 100% upgrade to an Oceanview or 5 start resort so I figure its worth mentioning.
4) A budget bracket is always helpful e.g. "I would like to spend between 5K-7K for my holiday".
5) Bang for your buck is absolutely how I operate

There is no judgement when it comes to asking your budget. But if it isnt realistic I will respectfuly advise you. My job is to make sure you have the best possible amazing experience within or as near as possible to how much you are comfortable spending.

Just keep in mind that your budget influences the standard of accommodation you stay in, the activities you do, the airlines available to you and also the duration of your holiday - generally speaking.

When you are on holiday you dont actually think about what you've spent to be there, you do remember though if your experience isnt great. So lets make it great :)
