My next Greek Island Adventure ๐Ÿฉต

Iโ€™ve wanted to really explore the Dodecanese islands of Greece for many years - the south eastern islands close to Turkey have authentic, less touristy islands than the Cyclades, less Meltemi wind in Summer and warmer temperatures once Autumn arrives.

I will start in the Cyclades in one of my favourite islands - Syros. Then embark on a 5 hr slow ferry to the Dodecanese (Bluestar slow ferries are my favourite way to travel the Greek islands).

Follow along as I island hop over 2.5 weeks in this beautiful region! ๐Ÿ‡ฌ๐Ÿ‡ท

Ever heard of Kefalonia? No? Thatโ€™s exactly why you need to go. ๐Ÿ˜Ž

Part of the Ionian Islands and yes, the water actually looks like that in real life!

โœ… Base yourself in the colourful bayside buzz of Argostoli , where the seafoodโ€™s fresh, the golden sun rises over the harbour, and the turtles glide by like theyโ€™re the local celebs (because, wellโ€ฆ they are) ๐Ÿข

Not every Greek island shouts for attentionโ€ฆ some quietly steal your heart ๐Ÿ’™

Lesvos is one of those.

From the ouzo-filled charm of Plomari, to the peaceful seaside of Melinda, this island feels untouched in the best way. Wander the long beach at Skala Eressos, climb to the church perched above Petra, and watch the sun dip low in wild, windswept Sigri.

Then thereโ€™s Molyvosโ€ฆ all stone houses, cobbled lanes, serene harbour and golden light.

This is Greece without the crowds. Slower, simpler, and deeply soulful.
